Group and Centre Activities
Structured group programs that build skills and friendships.
What it is
In plain language
Group and Centre Activities are planned programs run with a small group in a centre. Each session has a purpose, whether that is learning something practical, keeping active or simply spending time with people.
Groups are kept at a size where everyone gets attention and nobody gets lost. Staffing ratios are matched to the support needs in the room.
For many people the social side is the biggest gain. Turning up to the same group each week builds routine, familiar faces and the confidence to try things.
