NDIS support

Daily Tasks and Shared Living

Everyday support in a shared home, with independence as the goal.

What it is

In plain language

Daily Tasks and Shared Living is support delivered in a home you share with others. Workers help the household run smoothly while making sure each resident keeps their own routine, choices and privacy.

The work sits in two parts. There is the shared side, such as meals, cleaning rosters and getting along as a household. There is also the individual side, where each person has their own goals and their own plan for building skills.

Over time the aim is that residents take on more of the household themselves, with support stepping back as confidence grows.

What this can include

  • Support with communication between housemates and resolving day to day issues
  • Individual skill building goals within the shared home
